All Chouteau Elementary School students recieved an early Christmas present today to celebrate their achievements this semester. Our little wildcats are styling.
The Student Lighthouse Team designed the shirts.
Students passed more than 2,000 Rocket Math levels this semester. You did it! We celebrated with a bounce house during specials today.
Chouteau Elementary it has been a wonderful first semester. We set goals, we over came obstacles and we are achieving dreams. Let me share with you where we are on achieving our goals.
School-Wide Goals
Students will walk/run 5,000 miles per semester.
We didn’t quite make our goal. We are 500 miles away from meeting it so we will not be celebrating this time. This does give us opportunity to focus on this upcoming semester to put a little more effort into reaching this goal. We need everyone working and walking to make sure they contribute to our school wide goal this upcoming school year. Encourage one another. 4,500 miles isn’t too shabby. I am still impressed with you.
Students will complete 2,300 book reports of books on their level per semester. Give me a drum roll please!! Congratulations you met your goal!
We will have a Flash light Book Report Celebration for reaching our goal of 2,300 book reports this semester. Great work! Let’s celebrate!
Students will pass 2,000 Rocket Math levels per semester. You did it! Congratulations on working hard and achieving dreams. We celebrated with a bounce house during specials today!!!
You have all been working very hard on our Essential Standards goal. We do not have all the numbers in at this time but it does not look like we met our school wide goal. The classes that did a achieve the goal of 50% of the class mastering 6 essential math standards/ 6 essential reading standards by the end of the 1st semester will celebrate next week with a Polar Express party. Thank you again for working hard to master your essential standards. Next semester the goal will increase to 100% of our students will master 6 essential standards in both reading and math by the end of the school year.
Setting goals is the key. We don’t always attain our goals but we are always moving towards them. I am proud of all of you and I am proud to be a wildcat!
Christmas Programs:
Please have your child wear Christmas colors (red, green, gold, silver). I have reindeer headbands and elf hats for the 2nd gr. I have a Santa beard and hat. For the 3rd and 4th gr, I have elf hats for every student. If your child is a ghost, they can choose what they wear, whether it be spooky or silly. They could even dress in church clothes.
Please have your child arrive 15 minutes before showtime behind the stage in the hospitality room.
Thank you!
Mrs. M
