We will be selling shirts for the Coaches vs. Cancer game. All proceeds will be going to our Elementary Teacher Mrs. McCurry. The form will need to be filled out and returned to the Administration Office with money by this Friday at 10am.

OPEN HOUSE FREE DRAWINGS OCT. 15TH, 1-4 P.M.

The Chouteau Library will host an Open House, Saturday, Oct. 15th, from 1 to 4 P.M. at the new Chouteau Library, 307 W Main. The Open House and Free Drawings are being held in appreciation for the community's generous support.
Visitors will be eligible for free drawings for over $500 in Door Prizes, donated by local businesses, and refreshments, as they view the new Library. Historical pictures and documents of the town's early history will be on display.
Staff and Board members will be available to answer questions and explain the many services available to the public through the library such as computers for public use, a Children's Reading Program, STEM Program for students, and adult classes in Genealogy, computers, etc. Coping, faxing, and printing services are available for a small fee.
Originally scheduled nearly 3 years ago to celebrate the opening of the new library, the Open House was delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions. The library would like to thank all the people who have made the library such a success! Come join us!

Josie McCurry our art teacher is battling thyroid cancer. Links of Love is a fundraiser for her and her family. The class that raises the most money in each building will receive a slushie/popcorn party provided by the Booster Club.

2nd grade students have been learning about Egypt this summer. Today they ate by the Nile river.
Mayes County Sheriff’s department talked to Chouteau students about safety, handed out goody bags, and toured the police vehicle.
The students really enjoyed it! Thank you Mayes County Sheriff’s department.
